New York-based designer Rebecca Minkoff knows a thing or two about balancing sexy and chic with a little bit of cool, devil-my-care attitude thrown in.Rebecca believes that fashion lies in the details. Originally from San Diego, Ca, Rebecca's first love was the skillful art form of dance. She was always mesmerized with the way fabric can drape a body in motion. Throughout her dance career, Rebecca was fascinated by the decadent couture of the past and wished to somehow integrate her love of both arts.
 
After graduating high school, Rebecca Minkoffset out to conquer the fashion capital of New York City at the tender age of 18 and from there she decided to pursue formal training at FIT.

Tired of never having enough room to hold all the essentials for a woman on the go, Rebecca launched her handbag line, Rebecca Minkoff, in the Spring of 2004 with an instant hit. She has since expanded the line into 13 buttery leather carryalls and clutches to meet any girls needs.
