Paolo began his career creating jewelry and accessories for famous turn-of-the-century designers, including Missoni, Fiorucci, and Anna Planura for Crimson. In 1997, Giacomelli began working with designer and craftsman, Roberta Paolucci. Together they established Iosselliani as a way to more freely express their creative vision, creating unique styles with focus on the careful handcrafting of each piece. The collection is based on sterling silver and gold vermeil with a sparkle of Swarovski crystals, rubies and sapphires. As their collections developed, they began incorporating precious stones and metals, resulting in their limited edition brand, Progetto AR-100. The last addition to the Iosselliani family is the luxurious collection AU-750-IOS. This 18k gold collection takes its inspiration from traditional Italian jewelry using old-fashioned techniques to create contemporary jewelry. Their ultimate goal of Iosselliani is to further promote the independent development of creative ideas, a vision that will truly set them apart as jewelry-makers of the new century.
